Floor Plan Designer
The visual floor plan is the heart of your table management system. It allows you to create an accurate digital representation of your physical venue.
Accessing the Builder
Navigate to Admin > Floor Plan to open the Structure Builder. This drag-and-drop interface lets you design your layout exactly as it appears in real life.
Creating Floors
If you have multiple levels (e.g., Ground Floor, Terrace, Private Dining), start by creating separate floors. Click "Add Floor", name it, and set it as active to begin designing.
Adding Tables
1. Click the "Add Table" button
2. Choose the table shape (Round, Square, Rectangle)
3. Set the number of seats (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.)
4. Drag the table to its position on the floor plan
5. Resize if needed using the corner handles
Table Naming: Tables are automatically numbered (Table 1, Table 2, etc.), but you can rename them to match your physical labels (e.g., "Window 1", "Booth 3").
Drawing Walls & Zones
Use the "Draw Wall" tool to outline your venue's physical boundaries, bar areas, and private sections. This helps staff visualize the layout and improves the overall aesthetic of the floor plan.
Zones: Create zones like "Main Dining", "Bar Area", or "Terrace" to group tables logically. This is useful for assigning specific servers to sections.
Saving & Publishing
Once your design is complete, click "Save Floor Plan". The changes are instantly reflected on all POS terminals, and staff can begin assigning orders to the new layout immediately.
