1. Configuration

To activate the bot, navigate to Locations > Admin > AI Bot. You can configure:

**Public Profile**: Give your bot a Name (e.g., "Luca") and a specific Voice (e.g., "Professional yet friendly").
**Policy Gating**: Check the house policies the bot should enforce (Dog Friendly, Family Friendly, Parking Available).

2. The Conversation Flow

The bot uses Natural Language Intelligence to guide guests through a structured sequence:

1**Intent Detection**: Distinguishes between "I want a table" and "Where are you located?".

2. Field Extraction: Automatically extracts Size, Date, and Time from messages like *"Table for 4 tomorrow at 8pm"*.

3. Core-Engine Verification: Scans your real-time diary using the MaîtreAI allocator.

4. Confirmation: Only confirms the booking once it has successfully "soft-locked" a table in your system.

3. Human Handover (Priority Alerts)

The bot is designed to know its limits. It will automatically trigger a Manager Alert on your POS for:

**VIP/Large Groups**: Parties exceeding your automated capacity limit.
**Complex Logistics**: Requests for events, private dining, or wedding inquiries.
**Explicit Help**: If the guest types "Speak to human" or "Help".

*Note: Your POS must be online for staff to receive these real-time notifications.*
