Digital QR Menu for Customers
Your public-facing digital menu allows customers to browse your offerings from their own phones without downloading an app.
How Customers Access It
1. Scan the QR code displayed on their table
2. The menu opens instantly in their mobile browser
3. No app download or login required
Menu Features
Browse by Category
Customers can tap category tabs (Starters, Mains, Drinks, Desserts) to filter the menu and find what they're looking for quickly.
Item Details
Tapping any item shows:
- Full description
- Price
- Allergen information (with clear icons)
- Dietary labels (Vegan, Gluten-Free, etc.)
- High-quality photos (if uploaded)
Search Function
A search bar at the top allows customers to quickly find specific dishes or ingredients.
Live Stock Status
If an item is sold out, it's automatically marked as "Unavailable" on the digital menu in real-time. No more awkward "sorry, we're out of that" moments.
Customization Options
Navigate to Admin > Settings > Digital Menu to customize:
- Theme: Choose from Modern, Bistro, Neon, or Elegant designs
- Logo: Upload your restaurant logo for branding
- Colors: Match your brand's color scheme
- Language: Support multiple languages for tourist areas
QR Code Generation
To generate QR codes for your tables:
1. Go to Admin > Digital Menu > QR Codes
2. Select "Generate Codes"
3. Choose table-specific or general menu codes
4. Download as PNG or PDF
5. Print and display on tables
Pro Tip: Use table-specific QR codes to automatically pre-select the table number if you enable online ordering in the future.
Analytics
Track menu engagement in Admin > Reports > Digital Menu to see:
- Most viewed items
- Search terms customers use
- Peak browsing times
- Device types (mobile vs tablet)
This data helps you optimize your menu layout and highlight popular dishes.
