Gift Card Sales
TableCore supports digital gift cards that customers can purchase and redeem across all your locations.
Selling a Gift Card
1. From the POS, navigate to the Management Console (three-dot menu)
2. Select "Gift Cards"
3. Tap "Sell Gift Card"
4. Enter the amount (e.g., €50)
5. Optionally add the recipient's email for digital delivery
6. Process the payment as normal
The system will generate a unique gift card code and email it to the recipient (if provided). You can also print the code on a receipt for physical presentation.
Gift Card Codes
Each gift card has a unique 16-character code (e.g., GIFT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) that can be used for redemption. These codes are cryptographically secure and cannot be guessed.
Checking Balances
Customers can check their gift card balance at any time by visiting your public menu page and entering their code, or by asking staff to check it on the POS.
