Using Loyalty at the POS

POS Loyalty Workflow

Identifying Members

During the payment process, tap the "Scan Loyalty" button on the Payment View. You can:

- Scan the customer's QR code (from their phone or physical card)

- Search by name or phone number

- Enter their member ID manually

Once identified, the system displays their current points balance and any available rewards.

Earning Points

Points are automatically calculated based on the order total. The POS shows "You'll earn X points on this order" before payment is processed. Points are credited immediately after payment completion.

Redeeming Points

If the customer has sufficient points, a "Redeem Points" section appears on the Payment View. Use the +/- buttons to select how many points to redeem (in increments of 100). The discount is applied immediately, and the new total is displayed.

For example:

- Order total: €45

- Customer has 800 points

- Redeem 500 points = €5 discount

- New total: €40

- Remaining balance: 300 points

Post-Payment

After payment, the receipt shows:

- Points earned this visit

- Points redeemed this visit

- New points balance

This provides clear transparency for the customer.
